SDF. Sans domicile fixe. [homeless]

It's hard for me to take pictures of the homeless. It's hard to look, to acknowledge. Homelessness, alcoholism, drug addicts, people sleeping on the street. Some people just can't adapt to society, to the work world, to the beat our culture demands. It's hard. But I ask myself every day if I shouldn't take these pictures. If I shouldn't post them. I always come down on the side of 'looking at life today' and this horrible existence some people face is part of that. I don't have to go traveling around the globe to find misery. It is here, right here at home. Close.
