Seeing more and more of this in Montpellier. How can people sleeping under coats and blankets on sidewalks in winter or anytime be acceptable in societies that call themselves civilized or caring?

It is completely unacceptable. We need an asteroid impact or some other global catastrophe to help us hit the "reset" button, get rid of the monetary and status systems, and begin to think in terms of true equality. A powerful indictment of the times, this image.
