25 October 2016. Last evening in the Miami Beach apartment. The buyers had transferred funds to the account. They told me I could stay in the apartment until I left Miami Beach on 28 October. They were very nice, and I appreciated the offer, but I just wanted, needed to be out of there. Stayed a few nights at a nearby hotel until I went home.

Emptying my parents apartment was very difficult for me. Being there, in that empty space, was not pleasant. It was ready for the new owners. My time in that space, my sisters time in that space, was over just as it was over for my parents.

I can relate to how difficult emptying out your parents house was. We went through much the same thing a few years ago. Now we drive by the house in their small town, and it has not been cared for at all. It's sad to see.

I followed your "series"
It must have been really udr physically but also morally and I understand very well that you have preferred to stay at the hotel
Take the time to rest a little bit now
